Q1:What is my PIN?
A1:
PIN is normally the same last 5 digits of your account number, printed on your monthly statement or installation work order. The PIN is used for ordering CAT movies and as verification for enquiry on your account information via our Customer Service Hotline.

Q2:My remote control is not functioned, can I get a replacement?
A2:
If you have problems using the remote control, please ensure new batteries are installed correctly and the converter is turned on and displaying a channel number. You may also bring your remote control to our replacement agent -- CPS Express Ltd for replacement free of charge. If your remote control is found damaged, you will be charged $100.
For replacement or purchase of remote control, please call CPS Centre to check stock before you go.

Q3:How can I prevent other from watching some CABLE TV channels?
A3: You can lock the channel to prevent others from watching CABLE TV channels. For details, please refer to the user guide.

Q4:How can I prevent my child from watching some channels that are not suitable for children?
A4:
The parental control function allows you to restrict access to some programmes or channels which are not suitable for children. For details, please refer to the user guide.

Q5:How can I set up a new access code (for VISTAR 3000 & 2000) or password (for QNS) for the converter box?
A5: We would like to advise subscriber to change the access code or password to a one to four digit code for the first login of the converter. The subscriber can therefore control the access to some channels by using it.

Q6:How can I preset timer to record CABLE TV channels program?
A6:
You may choose to preset prefered program according the preset timer procedures then preset your recorder to record CABLE TV channel for the required time period. For details, please refer to the user guide.

Q7:How to activate audio setting?
A7: You may choose your preference language by audio setting. For details, please refer to the user guide.

Q8:How can I watch adult movies?
A8:
Registration is required for the viewing of all adult movies. The registration form named Registration for CAT programmes is available in our Cable Guide or you may download the registration form now. Please complete the application and return it to us by fax or mail, and allow 3 working days to process your registration.

Q9:How can I order CAT programs by Telephone?
A9: Please call 183 2828 to order movies and special event of the day on CAT 83-86. Please key in your CABLE TV registered telephone number, which is normally your home phone number, followed by your PIN number, which is usually the last five digits of your CABLE TV account number stated on your monthly statement. If you are a new subscriber, you may also refer to the account number shown in your installation work order. When these are entered correctly, you can choose the program you wish to book. Please follow the instructions accordingly. Once confirmation is made, the booking cannot be cancelled.

Q10:How can I order CAT programs through remote control?
A10: Please call 183 2828 to order the CAT coupon package, you can order movies through your remote control by following the procedure accordingly. Once confirmation is made, the booking cannot be cancelled. To use this function, please note that registration for adult movie viewing must be obtained.

Q11:What is the procedure for transferring my CABLE TV service to my new address?
A11: To transfer your CABLE TV service to a new address, please call our Customer Service Hotline 183 2828 and check with our Customer Service Executive for the availability of CABLE TV service. Once confirmed, please allow 7 days to arrange the transfer of service. A transfer fee of $500 will be charged for your first outlet.
